Among other unusual things (raisin sauce) in the Mullin family, Jerry, his niece Jenny and mom Juanita all share an April 14th birthday. This year, since it is Juanita's 80th we focused the party all on her and had a family celebration at Inca's and a birthday reception after church.
And now presenting the solar system! Thomas did a great job, and got an A for both the written and creative portions of the project. But most importantly, he learned a lot about the amazing universe that God created for us.
Easter Sunday with out a drop of rain! This is a very rare event in the Pacific Northwest. We had a fun Easter Sunday afternoon in the sunshine at my parents house, the kids were actually able to hunt for eggs outside :)
For his birthday Thomas really really wanted to go ice skating. Luckily there is an indoor ice rink not too far from my sister and bro-in-laws house in Newberg. Everyone had fun, but next time we are bringing gloves, it was COLD in there!
How time flies. Thomas is 9 years old!
