Go Mighty Molars!!!!

Tis the season. Once again I am putting on my mini van driving soccer mom hat! :) I don't mind one bit, Thomas loves playing, plus all the running tires him out, bonus! I included the "field C " sign, because it was straight when we arrived at the game, I'm fairly certain some kid named Zachary had something to do with the bent state that it is now in...

Comparison

Can you tell that he is Jerry's son? The first picture is of Jerry (circa 1973) when he was 4 years old and the ringbearer in his sister's wedding. The second picture is Zac, 3 years old, (almost 4 ) wearing the same jacket.

First Grade

Yesterday Thomas started the first grade. Wow. Where does the time go? Thomas LOVES school, but his favorite part of yesterday was, "three recesses!" The lady in the picture with Thomas is his wonderful teacher, Mrs. Conrad. Thomas has known Mrs. Conrad since he was a baby, hopefully that will keep him from trying to put his toe over the line. Zac was impressed with the reading loft in the classroom and would have been quite content to spend all day there. Kelsey really wasn't sure what the big deal was, but she liked sitting in big brother Thomas' chair.

A Rainy Day In Manzanita

Well, the Internet was wrong, shocking, I know. The weather web site that I looked at before our trip last week said that it was supposed to be, "sunny and 77 degrees" last Friday in Manzanita. Instead, it was about 65 and drizzly. We had two options for our rainy Friday, stay in side our tiny rental cabin with 7 kids, (ranging in age from 6 yrs-10 months) or spend the day at the indoor arcade in Seaside. We decided to keep what sanity we have left and went to the arcade. With the exception of Kelsey, who has yet to enjoy any family outing, we all had a great time. We were finally able to get a smile out of Kelsey when Grandma gave her an empty water bottle. Seriously, this child make me shake my head, she cries the WHOLE time on the carousel ride, but smiles for an empty water bottle? The rain finally cleared up in the evening and we were able to take the boys to the beach to play and of course to tire them out before bed :)
