A Rainy Day In Manzanita

Well, the Internet was wrong, shocking, I know. The weather web site that I looked at before our trip last week said that it was supposed to be, "sunny and 77 degrees" last Friday in Manzanita. Instead, it was about 65 and drizzly. We had two options for our rainy Friday, stay in side our tiny rental cabin with 7 kids, (ranging in age from 6 yrs-10 months) or spend the day at the indoor arcade in Seaside. We decided to keep what sanity we have left and went to the arcade. With the exception of Kelsey, who has yet to enjoy any family outing, we all had a great time. We were finally able to get a smile out of Kelsey when Grandma gave her an empty water bottle. Seriously, this child make me shake my head, she cries the WHOLE time on the carousel ride, but smiles for an empty water bottle? The rain finally cleared up in the evening and we were able to take the boys to the beach to play and of course to tire them out before bed :)

"Has yet to enjoy any family outing"? Hmm, that doesn't sound good. LOL, yes empty water bottles are fascinating to my children as well.
