Despite the fact that my sisters and their families were unable to make it to Manzanita this year (living in Colorado & Maine apparently had something to do with it) and the fact that we heard the BOOM of the fireworks but the "sparkle" was lost in the fog, we had a fun fourth of July on the Oregon coast.The kids had a great time playing in the sand, thus the bath tub picture that will haunt them forever. Kelsey rediscovered that she does NOT like the waves coming up behind her, and she also discovered grandma's secret vice. If you click on the collage it will make it bigger so you can call out grandma as well. :) The boys flew kites, built and destroyed sandcastles and gathered way too much candy from the parade. A wonderful fourth of July, we hope that you will make it next year girls!
